Early in development Irrational Games lacked a publisher for their new game called BioShock. The following pitch was created in order to attract a publisher who would publish the game as well as provide funding for development. The original pitch for BioShock was drastically different from the final version of the game. Multiple concepts were removed or greatly altered, but you can still see that many core concepts were kept. In 2010 Irrational Games uploaded this original pitch on the From the Vault section of their official website and it has been maintained by Ghost Story Games.
