Topics relate to geometry, meshing, and CAD
Hi there! I'm having a issue and I have no Idea how to solve it. I'm making a wavy fin model, and the main domain is meshed by tetrahedrons while downstream and upstream is meshed using hexaedrons, for computational cost. Then, I select all solids on design modeler and form a new part, then on mechanical I can have perfect connections between elements nodes. My problema is that when I go to setup, i dont know why but it considers my "new part" as a boundary condition, and I wont that. Can someone help me with that? Do I have another mean to create perfect connections between nodes withtout using "form new part" on design modeler?

Are you meshing for CFD or Mechanical analysis?
If CFD, then you can mesh everything with Tetrahedrons then convert them to Polyhedrons in Fluent.
